Earlier this month, Instagram officially announced Stories — a place where you can share all the moments from a day. Instagram Stories is very similar to Snapchat Stories, and there aren’t a lot of differences between Instagram and Snapchat’s Stories feature. Instagram Stories on Windows 10 Mobile looks and works just like it does on the iPhone. You can swipe from the left to create a new Story, where you can take a photo or record a video. Once done, you can sketch over the story and add things like filters, or text to it. Additionally, you can also save your own Stories to the Photo Library, which is also pretty handy. Once you add it to your Story, it’ll show up on the top of your followers’ timeline, where they can view all of your Stories from a day.
Here’s a video from Instagram which shows off Stories:

This may sound pretty minor, but it’s a very important feature for Instagram — at least on Windows Phones. That’s because Snapchat is still not available on Windows 10 Mobile, and the company doesn’t seem to have any plans ot bring it to the OS. However, now that there’s an alternative, Windows Phone users can now use Instagram Stories which works pretty nicely. The feature is available right now for those on Windows 10 Mobile, and you can get it from the link below:
